1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Halal Rishta, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be of legal marriageable age in your jurisdiction to register. Female users must have a registered Wali associated with their account before a profile becomes active.
3. Account Verification
All users undergo identity verification, including CNIC and liveness checks through our verification partner, before profiles are activated. Providing false information may result in account suspension.
4. Guardian Responsibilities
A Wali registered on behalf of a female user is responsible for reviewing and responding to Rishta Requests, managing profile visibility, and authorizing any photo sharing on her behalf and with her consent.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misrepresent your identity or intentions, attempt to bypass the guardian review process, harass other users, or use the platform for any purpose other than seeking marriage in good faith.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time through account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
7. Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, provide fraudulent verification information, or engage in behavior that compromises the safety of other families on the platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
Halal Rishta facilitates introductions between families and guardians. We do not guarantee the outcome of any Rishta Request or the accuracy of information provided by other users.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
